ICBVI is a state agency which has been serving Idahoans since 1967. The agency assists blind and visually impaired persons to achieve independence by providing education, developing work skills, increasing self-confidence and helping them remain employed or prepare for employment.

The Idaho Assistive Technology Project (IATP) is a federally funded program administered by the Center on Disabilities and Human Development at the University of Idaho. Our goal is to increase the availability of assistive technology devices and services for older persons and Idahoans with disabilities.
National Federation of the Blind Idaho Scholarship
The NFB of Idaho awards at least one scholarship each year, during the NFB of Idaho State Convention held in early spring, to a well-deserving blind student enrolling in college.
Idaho Commission for Libraries Talking Book Service
The Idaho Commission for Libraries (ICFL) is located in the Executive Branch of state government and is governed by the Board of Library Commissioners, which is appointed by the governor.
The State Librarian, appointed by the Board of Library Commissioners (I.C. 33-2504), serves as the agency's chief executive officer and is charged with implementing the Board's policies and rules and with managing the operations of the agency. In our relatively flat organization, all employees work to support the agency mission to assist libraries to build the capacity to better serve their clientele.
Idaho Project for Children & Youth with Deaf-Blindness
Provides statewide technical assistance to support parents, service providers and other agencies in meeting the educational needs of children and youth are deaf-blind.

DRI, formerly Comprehensive Advocacy, Inc., assists people with disabilities through quality legal, individual and system advocacy.
Assists people with disabilities employed in agriculture by providing practical education and assistance that promotes independence in agricultural production and rural living. AgrAbility staff perform worksite assessments and develop plans to accommodate farmers and ranchers with any type of disability, physical or cognitive.
Idaho Association of Community Rehabilitation Programs
A professional organization dedicated to assisting its membership in the provision of services to individuals who are disabled and disadvantaged.
Describes specific issues addressed in Idaho's disability statutes, including housing, education and employment rights.
Idaho Independent Living Centers (ILCs)
Contact information for ILCs throughout Idaho. ILCs provide people with disabilities advocacy and support services, including assistance with employment, transportation, housing, health care and living skills.
Each center provides career counseling, career planning, resume assistance, direct job placement, classroom and on-the-job training, information about local and national labor markets and unemployment compensation.
Idaho Work Incentive Planning & Assistance (WIPA)
If you receive disability benefits from the Social Security Administration and are interested in working or learning more about how working would affect your benefits, you can get help from a community organization known as a Work Incentive Planning and Assistance (WIPA) project.

Idaho Council on Developmental disabilities
The Idaho Commission on Aging (ICOA) is the sole state agency designated under the Older Americans Act to administer programs and services for Idahoans 60 years of age and older. Since 1965 the Older Americans Act (OAA) has provided funding for services to meet the diverse needs of older persons in the United States through the National Aging Services Network (the Aging Network).
National Federation of the Blind Idaho
The National Federation of the Blind of Idaho advocates for children and adults of all ages. This includes developing and nurturing strong and informed relationships with both public and private schools and agencies responsible for providing services to the blind; seeking legislative solutions through cooperative ventures with our state representatives; and seeking private funding to support scholarships, work-study grants, and internships for promising students.
Idaho Association of Blind Students
A new support and advocacy group for the blind students of Idaho has been established. The Idaho Association of Blind Students (IDABS) is a membership organization composed of blind students of all ages, particularly high school and college students. IDABS is a Division of the National Federation of the Blind of Idaho, and an affiliate of the National Association of Blind Students.
Idaho Parents of Blind Children
The Idaho Parents of Blind Children (IPBC) is a statewide membership organization of parents and other interested persons who come together to provide vital support, give encouragement, and information to each other. Parents, relatives, blind persons, educators, and others interested in providing opportunities for blind children may join. Although membership is open to non-parents, the control and focus of IPBC remains with parents.

Idaho-Eastern Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation
The Idaho-Eastern Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation was established in 1969 to encourage and promote sight and hearing conservation projects to the citizens of Southern Idaho and Eastern Oregon. The mission of the foundation is to be a humanitarian organization dedicated to serve our Idaho communities’ Lions clubs, and the world, as an outstanding quality provider of sight and hearing assistance.
